@Yeti0044 But the vulcan is the M61A1 20mm cannon. Why would anyone call the Avenger by it's name. That makes zero sense.

I just spent some time listening to Various clips of both the GAU8 and M61 Vulcan 20mm guns firing and this for sure a Vulcan which has actually more rate of fire then the A10's cannon. 6K rounds per minute vs the GAU's 4200. This also looks like an F18 or F16 that uses a 20mm gun and also to note the pilot is not perfectly straight when firing, he's a bit tilted. A10's have to be flying straight, pointing toward the ground to get a good hit with the 30mm rounds.

@ViperSRTnACR That is an A10 GAU-8. F18s and 15s guns sound nothing like that as they do not fire nearly close to the same rate.

Sounds too "high pitched" to be an A10. The "Bzzzzzzz" sounds like an FA-18 or F-15 gun VS's the A10's deeper pitched "Brrrrrraaapppp" GAU-8 cannon.

You are right, it is a GAU 8/A avenger, some call it a Vulcan cannon. I worked on them for four years.
