Because the veronicas aren't as big as Katy in the US.
And The Veronicas are about to go downhill in the US because their next single in the US will be Take Me On The Floor (Perez Hiltion confirmed it himself) and about EVERYONE will think the veronicas are copying Katy with the whole "kiss a girl" thing. But really, the veronicas were the ones who started that. They wrote TMOTF WAYY before katy recored I kissed a girl.
