  • perfect!

  • very beautiful, but in my opinion nobody plays this symphony better than Yves Castagnet at St-Ouen organ

  • This has to be one of the most amazing recordings of this piece!! God I love that room!! Skinner built some amazing monsters! What a genius!

  • Pas à la portée de tous les doigts, ces pages...en tous cas , BRAVO ! D.BABEL

  • A fabulous piece by this very talented performer, and one of Vierne's most spectacular and admired showpieces for pipe organ. Michael Murray has grown considerably since his first direct-to-disc recording on the Telarc label, a recording made in 1977 at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall. That was a landmark at that time, with great support from Robert Woods and Jack Renner. Murray also performs this piece at Methuen, and at Symphony Hall in Boston. His album from St Sulpice is my favorite.
