@slowhand633 the root of mixolydian is the fifth of the scale. In this case it is Bb which is in the key of Eb. It would be good to play over a V or V7 chord. ( Bb or Bb7) this would give it that mixo sound.

I love how people think they have to memorize cue cards like this to sound alright.. Can't he just naturally say "hope you enjoyed this come up with your own licks in mixolydian!" lol

in reality all the modes are the same...the only thing that changes is the order of the notes...so basically doesn't make sense saying that you have to use a mixo in here: you use the major scale, and then it's up to you which licks to use...arpeggios are great, of course...I use them so much.
