:)) Would you like a party for every single american? Or would it be enough for every familly. Stupid shit. In every debate, there are two points of view (in little cases, there are three different opinions). How many parties would you like to talk about the same subject? You agree or you don't with a subject. That's it. Or, if you're spineless, you want a middle way (third type of opinion on the subject). You stupid prick

@derfunkhaus USA has no democracy you fool, do you really think 2 parties that actually is the same shit represents the opinions of 350Million people, go fuck yourself you sheep.

cheap, toxic Venezuelan oil causes climate change

Chavez represents a socialist/leftist party which controls every single seat in the National Assembly, and Chavez has the power to rule by decree. It's hardly the same sort of "democratic country" as, say, Canada or the United States.

I think some people that criticise our dear MR. Presidente Chavez perhaps are not listening and are forgetting that the matter we are trying to solve here concerns all THE WHOLE WORLD regardless what system we are using or not we are in deepppp Shh! and is so unfortunate that US isn't cooperating at all. all extremes are bad however perhaps a combination of good will could help us a little more.

the high social inequality of incomes of US is something that developed economies doesn't desire, in that case the nordic model is the best. But the capitalism continues being the best system to generate wealth. But the eternal growth of the GDP is something imposible in a limited planet. If US reaches more than 150000$ percapita and China 25000$ the planet will get owned if the population is not controled, or if not found another clean energy source.
"If the climate was a bank, they'd have saved it by now"
The best statement I have heard, during this whole climate discussion!

@derfunkhaus 1) Venezuela is a democratic country and Chavez is subject to recall via referendum under its constitution and 2) Historically speaking, capitalist countries are largely responsible for anthropogenic climate change.
A socialist country with a central planned economy is better able to act than a market economy which is reliant on profit to motivate all action.
