its 100 per 1.2 seconds. and the rounds have small explosives in them. i was aboard a ship that fired off a seawiz. the sea wizz can fire 5000 rounds a minute. but only has 1500 rounds in its capicity.

Actually, they are not really lead. The Phalanx had armor-piercing tungsten penetrator rounds with discarding sabots. The first Phalanx was 50 rounds a second, and the newer versions are 75 rounds per second as wrbowcal stated.
