Fuck you, Phil Spector.

Phil Spector a wonderful producer in the 60 s. Be my baby are one of the best songs ever. But for me Spector never produced an album like Pet Sounds like B, Wilson did! Wilson always talks with respect when he talks about Spectors work.

he hates it but he loves it got it.

Politics and greed...its music! You can hear it on the radio. What happened to the day when artists were starvign and did it because they loved it and had a message? I hope the Internet has changed all of this.

@GrindDesigns you clearly havnt heard Pet Sounds
-
GENIUS. And a horrible man.
-
I would have thought Spector would have been "flattered" that Scorsese used "Be My Baby"
over the opening credits of his film ?

@DimensionsofChange I recall from a biography that Mr. Specter takes serious medication for mental illness, which might explain the slur. His jealousy of Brian Wilson never ceases to amaze and sicken.
good vibrations is an edit record

Not taking away from Phil's talent, but he is 100% wrong in condemning ANY of Brian's work. Little Deuce Coupe may not be lyrically mature, but it's certainly lyrically superior to "To Know Him Is To Love HIm", and that took three people to write; one of them being Phil. BTW, Brian surpassed the wall of sound technique in the 60's Phil...and let's not call people crazy if you don't want the finger pointed at you. Brian's not in prison for murder.
