I think if you could get a hold of a tiger striped chenille fabric in the tones that are in the oak, that piece would look amazing.

I like your fabric choice. It is a warm, comfy, look. I think I've seen the fabric in person; it has a nice hand feel to it.

I think the chair requires a heavy velvet or a tapestry... The leather would spoil the chair in my opinion.

I think it needs a tapestry type material. But the leather--if it is leather would be nice. A fake leather would not do that chair justice!
