Mae West sings the Beattle song Day Tripper. The studio "in house" band she used on this album is really very good. This is only about half the song but you get the idea. E-mail me if you have any questions. Hope you enjoyu it. It is a great version of the song.

  • Mae makes every song clearly personal...

  • This song totally rocks with the woman's point of view.

  • @JonathanDaddy what is the song about?

  • @buckeyeschmave

I wouldn't be shocked if, even as a pretty old lady, Mae West knew *exactly* what the song was aboutl. From a long, long, long history in show biz, I don't think there was too much she hadn't seen.

  • Celebrities "cashing in" with albums full of cheesy covers was common enough in the 1960s. Anyone remember William Shatner's "rock" recordings?

  • oh god, this is classic

  • @diddymuck Mae West did 2 or 3 disco albums. All were very cool....

  • man this is really bad

  • @IdaSputum :)

  • @buckeyeschmave - Mae knew EXACTLY what was going on!
