Story has played a significant role in all cultures put its adoption into professional cultures has been painfully slow. It's easier to present a report instead of a well-crafted presentation.

  • You lost me with the slides.

  • Thought it was really useful that you describe how to incorporate stories into presentations. It's these practical points that are needed. Thanks

  • this is great.. Thank you so much!~~~ :)

  • This is great presentation, technique and advice. The challenge lies in the stultifyingly boring , grey substance most business types actually comprise. Corporations are like people, They believe a story exists in everyone, but it really is just amalgam of bad B and C storylines of all particular plots most impactive on the individual's POV. Businesses lack story because they lack depth. They are interested in money, whereas people have something more. Rarely enough for real storytelling.

  • Excellent PIXAR videos & tips on storytelling:

  • This is so great :)

  • Thank you for this.

  • I really like this video and enjoy the way you polarise (I'm British!) report/exhaustive and story/dramatic communication styles. I also love the way that you present - very personable. Great stuff!

    Cheers,

    Tom

  • Stories are what bind us, from African Apes through to Urban gorillas, out storys made us human. our culture is story. our future is story.

Story binds us, enages us and unites us. Reports explain whos fault it was ( or will be )

Ive developed a twitch waiting for your book to be released in the UK. ( should have paid the import penalty ).
