Branford Compassion Club Grand Opening Cermony 2/27/2010

Branford Compassion Club, Grand Opening, 2037 Foxon Rd, North Branford, Ct. Founder Eunice Lasala, past President, after 14 years finally awaited newly BBC, cat adoption center. Current President, Mary Mellows, cuts the ribbon. With the help of owner of Pet Shield Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Gerry Fischback, DVM, located right next door from BCC, helped tremendously with his services to make this dream come true along with the volunteers and public donations.

Branford Compassion Club (BCC) is a non-profit feline
rescue organization that serves not only Branford, CT,
but surrounding shoreline towns. The mission of the club
is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless,
abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the
importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible
pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.
