  • The first issue of Rolling Stone magazine I bought had Linda on the

    cover. That's issue 227 dated December 2, 1976. That issue also had

    feature stories on Heart, Boston, Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, Starz,

    and Jimi Hendrix. There were reviews of the latest Bob Dylan, Lou Reed,

    Ringo Starr, Robin Trower, Be Bop Deluxe, and Rory Gallagher albums.

    Finally, there were concert reviews for Boston and Darryl Hall and

    John Oates.
