Someone Should Have Told Him

This is my favorite poem. It's really sad, but really good. I have seen several different versions of it, I just decided to put this one, and they're all basically the same, so please don't hate me if you've seen a different version and think I changed around the words - I didn't.

Yes, this video is only words, no pictures, and no movies, but, again, I love this poem, and it has a message that needs to be spread.

Side Note: Most people who drive drunk just think of the possibility of killing themselves, and just think, "What the hell, it'll never happen, and besides, it's MY decision to make because I'M the one who'd end up dead." Maybe they breifly remember that they could kill another driver on the road, or a pedestrian, but then they just brush it off and say it'll never happen.
I KNOW SOMEONE THAT WAS DRIVING DRUNK AND ENDED UP KILLING HIS BEST FIREND, BUT NOT HIMSELF, SO FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE HE HAS TO LIVE WITH THE KNOWLEGE THAT IF IT WEREN'T FOR HIM HIS BEST FRIEND WOULD STILL BE ALIVE.

this makes me cry because my brother was killed by a drunk driver the person is still in jail ind is still living with the gilt knowing he killed an angel from heaven

My brother lost his life due to his girlfriend driving while drunk. The law didn't do a thing to her. The ironic thing was that my brother was due to go to court the Monday after the wreck and was going to be put in rehab instead of jail to get him clean from drinking. He had actually quit drinking on his own but I talked with the judge and he agreed with me that he needed the rehab. He died 3 days before that hearing.

@diablosonz no bud this is where you're wrong and perhaps the saddest part of all the person isnt always an asshole but somebody who made a really bad stupid fucking decision to drink and drive, and if its a young person they pay, as they should, for it for the rest of their lives, such a bad bad thing anyway you look at it
