@mayne242 What a stupid question. Each individual has the right to define what is insulting for them. As you do. You don't get to tell some one a word is not insulting to them, only that it's not insulting to you. Obviously, this whole debate's got you insulted, otherwise you wouldn't be so incensed. The louder you insult others the bigger of a jerk/racist/bigot you become.  By the way, you have no concept of equality, if you think it applies to slinging insults around.

@mayne242 Racism is racism, no matter who it comes from. If you use the name to insult a whole group then you're a racist. Just because they call you cracker doesn't excuse your racism. Try and make believe that you've some intellectual moral high ground for saying it, it doesn't change the fact that you're a racist. If you're NOT racist then you wouldn't use the word. It's not about liberal or conservative or equality, that's your rational for being a racist.

You're no different, you just have different buttons. Your callousness is just a front. You pretend to be tough but you're just as sensitive as the next guy. On the side, your slavery ended 150 years ago is the height of ignorance. Black people have been treated like 1/2 human and the word is part of that behavior.
