Watch Jeff cut one of the 18 individual holes on the 1 acre putting green located in front of the new Golf Clubhouse at Sun Valley Idaho. He uses a special walk behind Toro greens mower and a careful eye to make the patterns needed. Famous Bald Mountain can be seen in the background. Sun Valley has two courses, the 18 hole Trail Creek Course and the new 9 hole White Clouds course.

  • How many greens do you cut before sharpening the reels?

And is it hard to sharpen reels?

  • We sharpen the reels a few times during the season... not hard at all if you have the right equipment. Our course has a full time mechanic who sharpens all of the mower blades.
