This is a job match from the WWF, with a lot of meaning. Dennis helped train Tatanka at the Monster Factory, at this show he had just been called by the WWF he actually worked Doug Sommers. The match was horrible and the WWF Officials were unhappy. But it was Dennis who went to Tony Garea and told them not to blam Tatanka, and told them he would go out and work him and include everything they wanted. He did and Tatanks went on to one hell of a win streak. History!

  • Chris was great and a good friend I was happy to see him do well. The glazed look on my face ws because I thought we were going straight back and when he started walking around I was lost.

  • Chris was awsome even when we trained together at the Monster Factory. On that night I am sure that a lot of guys in the back could have done a great job. But Doug Sommers was horrible. I spent 2 weeks everday training Chris and teaching him so he could move on.

  • That's a Full Blooded Lumbee Indian son...I swear to GaWd cus.

  • My sister knew Tatanka's brother when he was in the NAVY!

  • When I first started wrestling I modeled my offense after Tatanka and Chief Jay Strongbow, then I added my own flavor of moves. I always wanted to see a Native American champion and he would have been a great one.

  • Haha I see...

  • And lol at the glazed over look in your face before you got put away with "The End of the Trail." lol. :)

  • Good for you! There's a lot of "blue chip" guys nowadays that come in and face local (not so much jobbers as they are developmental talent)guys but they look like shit. Plaudits to those who are able to help out these guys like Chris.

  • So Dennis, you were able to put over Chris Chavis the way the guys in the back wanted it to happen? Thanks to your help and unselfishness, this man was able to win the hearts of a lot of fans during his 2 year undefeated streak.
