1965 Ford falcon startup and rev

65 ford falcon straight 6 200ci, bored over, dual outlet headers, holley carb, dual smithys glasspacks w/ short pipe, all engine work done but still need to do body. New cylinder head carb and intake being put in next spring.

Nice, Im 16 and restoring my 66 mustang with a 200ci in it. Ive been doing alot of body work and have most of it primered and I've pretty much rebuilt the engine to stock. I just got in a new neutral safety switch, ignition switch, and battery cables and plan on starting it for the first time soon since after the rebuild i found most of the electrical stuff was bad. @The66StangMan nice yeah im rebuilding it with my dad and were all done with the engine but by around october were hoping to have all the body work done and paint it and finish off all the small stuff and have it done by then, and then next spring puttin in the new head intake and carb for some more horse.

@Mintfooter once again learn your facts "bud"! stock 200ci i6 thats in my falcon puts out 120hp stock, nothing to brag about... after a new rear end, headers 2bbl carb, milled cyl head, supercharged and not to mention many other performance parts your 300hp 302 dont seem so bad, and once again you are false, buy a manual for your car and you will see most parts between the 2 cars are interchangeable.

@aamore8 Haha good luck with that bud! I'm pretty sure u are only putting down like 100 HP if ur lucky! Really competitive with mine that is throwing down 300+, and the falcon is predecessor to the Mustang but they are really ugly and the only thing that carried over were some suspension parts

@Mintfooter you should really learn your shit, by saying falcons blow your basically saying your own mustang does... same cars just different body styles other than that they are identical. the mustang was based off the falcon. and my "puny" little 6 cyl makes more hp and torque with what i have into it than your 302 does, if you think falcons blow then dont watch my videos..

I have a 92 Fox body as a daily driver and i have a fully restored, as in every single part on the car was either rebuilt or replaced 68 Mustang with a 302, not a puny little 6 cylinder, oh and don't forget the 67 Fairlane GTA in the shop that we had to replace all the sheet metal from the doors back. so i'd like to think that i'm doing just fine in the "car community"
