lol i can imagine a situation where a coach yells "where the hell did you learn to ref" and the ref would reply with "on youtube" lol

Keep in mind this video is made for JUNIOR officials, reffing lower-level games. Indicating the type of foul at the point of infraction helps these young players learn what they did wrong, and also helps you communicate with your partner. TECHNICALLY, no, it is not advised, and I wouldn't recommend doing it in a AAAA game. But PERSONALLY, I would probably still do it at the younger ages. Remember, you want to do what is right for the game and the players- including helping them learn.
