Ievan Polkka is a very old song, this is taken from the wikipedia page:
"The song is sung in very heavy Eastern Savonian dialects spoken in North Karelia. It differs in many aspects radically from Standard Finnish.

The Loituma version of the song includes an intermezzo of phonetically inspired gibberish containing only a few Finnish words; it is not part of the original song written by Eino Kettunen. The content of the intermezzo varies from one performance to another and is not listed on most lyrics. It is similar to scat in jazz."

I'm sorry. I tried to make this for helping English-speakers who adored the song. I made this video a very long time ago and I would appreciate it if you guys just stopped fussing over my lyrics. I never imagined they'd get so much attention, and believe it or not I did put some effort into making this.
So please, leave me alone about it.




I speak english myself, so my pronunciation may be wrong.
I wrote it like someone would write a "misheard Lyrics" video.

After writing out a lyric sheet the ever popular "leekspin" version of this song,
I decided I wanted to try to learn the whole song so I made another cheatsheet with this.
And thought... why not turn it into a video for my viewers?

Maybe it took more or less to make lyric sounds I dunno I started yesterday.
