Yes, he is married to Ekaterina Gordeeva who was married and skated to and with Sergei Grinkov. Yes, they speak Russian in the home as both sides of their families are from Moscow. Also both girls have teachers who school them in Russian a few times a week as it helps them to remember their heritage and it keeps them rooted to Russia even though they were both born in the USA.
