Pugsley vs. Mukluk

My wife and I are testing our new Surly Pugsley and Salsa Mukluks on the 1st snow of the season. We're also testing a new, 2nd GoPro camera and the stock iMovie video editing software that came with our new iMac. Wow, that's a lot of new stuff.

Thx. We really enjoy ours.  Obviously there's snow here in Winnipeg but to be accurate there has not been much snowfall this year and we find that we like the FatBikes as much in the sloppy and slippery conditions as in the snow itself. We may even use them for some summer adventure riding and racing depending on conditions even though we both have high-end 29ers.

@daveelliot I rode the TommiSea. If money weren't the issue would've bought one. It's a specialty bike and I wouldn't expect to road tour on it. I have 4 bikes, each with a purpose. The road touring bike & SS/FG can do 30+ mile rides. ATB can do that too, but it's a more comfortable & slower ride, so it's a cruiser utility as well. 4th bike is a bmx, that's probably is the closest to a fat bike. Would be interesting to see if the bmx could do everything that I'd do with a fat bike ?

that was really good. i live in Chicago, rode a Surly Pugsley yesterday. Not running out just yet to buy one... not sure if I'd use it enough.
