Enjoyed the video of Sir James C. Ronning's song. Some ghost writers are not interested in money or fame, but just the thrill of sharing their lyricss with others. It is a wonderful feelling when Hollywood comes calling asking permission to use our songs in movies or stage musicals. Let the hystrioinic ego maniacs and groupies of their worship keep putting Ronning down. HE HAS THE CONTRACT FOR THIS TRANSACTION AS THE ULTIMATE TRUTH THAT SIR JAMES DID INDEED WRITE ANY SONGS HE SAYS HE WROTE.

What a thrill to see someone except the actual writer of " The Weary Kind" at the Oscars. Powerful people in the music industry are sweating bullits if the word got out that James C. Ronning (a ghost writer of another Oscar winner) wrote this song. Bingham does did not have the experiences of Dr or Sir Ronning to even know what WHAT WEARY IS IN LIFE. He does have the LEGAl right to claim the song. If the public only knew how many great songs are sold to people like movie stars and celebs.

This film and the music in it is the only one that comes close to portraying life on the road with it's glamour and its heartbreak. Thinking of chucking the day job etc? See this first young'ns.

Was it just a coincidence that the main character in 'Up in the Air' was called Ryan Bingham? I thought that was a bit spooky, as both the films came out around the same time?
