THIRD PLACE WINNER FOR BEST EDITING! YAY!

Three men: one an outcast, one a lord and another a noble. One wants her, one loves her and one needs her. All three trapped in the intoxication of one beauty whom they know as Snow White.

CAST:
Esmeralda-Lilli from Snow White: A Tale of Terror
Quasimodo-Erik from Phantom of the Opera
Frollo-Dracula from Bram Stoker's Dracula
Pheobus-Louis from Interview with the Vampire
Fleur de Lys-Claudia from Interview with the Vampire

MUSIC: "Belle" from Notre Dame de Paris. I chose to use the live French version because to me, it sounds more emotional.

This is for EponineGraydeChagney's contest and although I wasn't as confident, this video won third place for best editing and I'm so proud!

And yes, it was mentioned that extra points would be added for a fifth film for Fleur de Lys and I REALLY wanted to use Lily from Legend or Sarah from Labyrinth (which would add up all my absolute fav fandoms together), but sadly I was running VERY low on disk space. Claudia still makes a good Fleur de Lys, though, aside from being more upfront about the matter than Fleur actually was, but I guess it makes sense 'cause in the clips that I used her, she is at the point in the film/book where she's aware that Louis' going to leave her for someone else.

Still, I had fun making this and I'm actually thinking of making another one!

Anyway, please enjoy, rate, comment and thank you to everyone for your support and to EponineGraydeChagney for accepting this video and introducing me to this amazing song!

  • This is a very nice video! You're editing was good and I liked that you used Lilli as Esmeralda. Thank you again for entering my contest and great job with this! :D

  • Thank you. I had fun making it, especially by using Lilli.

  • This was very well-done and absolutely beautiful. You used 4 of my favorite films, coincidentally enough! Great job!

  • Thanks! They're my favs too.

  • Awesome and beautiful !! Every character is a great choice, and they perfectly fit the voices of each one !! I'm happy also because I'm french and I can understand the lyrics well. It is wonderful, because you represent the meaning of each lyrics, the original sin when the girl hold the apple, etc... And because all the characters are well together, as after 4:14 there are candles everywhere around all of them. The part with musicians after/before each singer is great !

    Very good work. Woaw !

  • Thank you SO much for noticing the apple! I was afraid no one would get that and thank you. I quite prefer this song in French myself. Much more passionate.

  • that was awesome. i really wish it wasnt so fuzzy, but it was great. sad too.

  • visiting this vid again, because it's awesome :)

Also, since you liked the idea of that monk from Enigma's Sadeness video, I redid my latest Belle multifandom video (Esmeralda=Christine, Mr. Ribaldi from Rigoletto as Quasimodo, Ville Valo as Phoebus etc) with that monk again in the role of Frollo :) Just letting you know, in case you're interested.

  • wow great editing and video *adds to favourites*
