Mid-week check in, everything is going fairly well, besides the fact that i GAINED 5 POUNDS, whatever, dude.

I want to continue to make videos but not have them be so rambly, what I mean is, I want each video to have a point, I guess. Something I can figure out, or is there anything any Type 1's or fellow dieters want to talk about?

  • i don't like to weigh mid-week for this exact reason, water weight and general fluctuations really get me down, even though i KNOW its not fat gain. i rely too much on the number the scale says... i'm trying to get better about that.

  • Hi....I'm type I diabetic as well and similar to your story I was on the older side (23) when I found out. Since starting insulin my weight went up and up, add on two pregnancies and an under active thyroid and it's just a constant struggle. Anyway, I finally found something that works for diabetics....it's a workout called TTapp. I've tried everything, diets, workouts, everything....and TTAPP is the best workout program I have ever found. It's a 15 - 25 min WO and you do it at home.

  • Yeah, just seeing the extra numbers on the scale is not cool. Even though you feel good, it makes you feel terrible. I hate it! Which is why I'm not using a scale - partly cause I'm flatting and I use my mum's digital one on the weekends, so I can only weigh once a week.

  • Don't beat yourself up, everyone struggles. Just keep it up and get into a habbit. I just have one question, why are you so reluctent to weigh yourself in the middle of the week? I'm glad to here that your blood sugars are good. Bye.
