Esta ruta comenzó a ser utilizada por los peregrinos para evitar el paso por el territorio que ocupaban los musulmanes en la Edad Media. El paisaje es uno de sus grandes atractivos ya que buena parte del recorrido transcurre a lo largo de la costa, entre montañas y mirando al mar Cantábrico. Al llegar a Oviedo existe la alternativa de seguir por el Camino del Norte o hacer el Camino Primitivo.

Please boycott Spain and France as turist destinations. They have both illegally colonised and displaced the native population and committed grose human rights violations.
Both countries use propaganda and the media to label all Navarrese people as Basque terrorists. This is not true, both countries attempted to ban our language and exterminate our culture.
Please help in breaking the back of Spanish and French tourism which funds oppression of Navarre and its people

NAVARRE is an independent kingdom with its own monarchy. The Sapanish invaded using a false papal bull under ferdinand of Aragon in 1512. This so called pope who was really a soldier waged war on a neutral country which chose to keep out of the "Italian wars" pope Julian the 2nd fathered at least two bastards both made "noble" by a corrupt vatican.
We want our independance back and ask the European union and the united nations this year to return our lands and unite our prople again- help us.
