  • This is an excellent description on foam. I am making a seat for the foot of my bed. I couldn't find a craft store or any other store to buy foam in the size I need. Online only. The problem was how would I be able to know how it feels . I am looking for a firm cushion. Thank you for the detailed explanation.

  • very useful to make decision while buying online...thnx mike..

  • this is the best description of foam . . . explains it all.

    good information. . thanks,

  • this is wonderful -no one else tells you this stuff.....because you need to know the differences between the foams, given the height of the cushion! thank you so much!

  • Xpress made an entire set of 8 cushions and pillows for an antique sofa, chair and rocker I bought at an estate sale last year. They sent samples of fabric to me and even fixed 2 cushions that I measured incorrectly - at no charge. They were wonderful! I got them within 2 weeks and they look fabulous. I am now going to order cushions for a slipcovered sofa that my rescue dog peed on.

Mike's videos are wonderful - while not dynamic, are GREAT HELP!! Who else tells u all this w/o trying to sell?

  • This is great and it helps people select foam because it is very HARD to find upholstery people

  • Thank you for making these videos. They really helped picking out what foam to purchase.

  • Very informative. This helped me a lot. Thank you!

  • Oh and PS I looked at the cushions and they appear to have Dacron on them.

  • I just got a couch from my parents that's been in the family since within a year before I was born (I'm 22). The cushions still look taut, and feel pretty comfortable (more than some other, newer couches that I've sat on), and as far as I know the foam has not been replaced. Should I be concerned about the age of the foam, or is it just a high quality foam?
