over and over again travelling to and from my old job i'd listen to james taylor, it was the best part of the day, reassuring, comforting, soothing, relaxed, giving hope

This song will always be Colorado to me. The drive at night through the mountains, the last leg on our way to Cripple Creek from the Springs. Nothing but trees and stars and windows open to let the moonlight hit our skin. Arms rising and falling in the drafts, coming around that last switchback and the city lights breaking below.

just amazing as always. a true artist...anyone hear any band in the background? Nope. Autotune? Not to my ear. Just him, and a guitar, and songs HE writes. where did music go so wrong? he's the real deal!

Even just as poetry, this song is an amazingly heart pulling piece of work. Add the beautiful music and JD's expressive voice and you get nothing short of perfection.
