RSS feeds are one of the cornerstones of Web 2.0, and finding a good feed reader is a must in today's socially networked society. A new one that just came onto our radar is a free offering called Regator. Regator makes it easy to find out what the hottest blogs are talking about, as well as read your own favorites and find new favorites.

Another free web app that's very handy is ididwork, a free utility that helps you keep track of jobs you've done during the day. It allows you to share your work reports with other members of a team, so everyone gets to see how much work is done on a project at any time.
