Well, the hucksters are hitting the iPhone app market, and some people have purchased a sort of joke iPhone app that costs 1,000 dollars. But all the application ("I Am Rich") does is display a red jewel on your iPhone. A few people bought the application by accident, thinking it was only a joke. Apple has taken the application off of its store.

Another free web app that's very handy is ididwork, a free utility that helps you keep track of jobs you've done during the day. It allows you to share your work reports with other members of a team, so everyone gets to see how much work is done on a project at any time.

...or I am Stupid. According to a LA Times article, the customers were compensated for buying the app. One person thought it was a joke...and he paid for it.

  • 1 word installous

  • They guy made a 2k just by uploading a picture with 10 words... Really iphone? Iphone=domasses

  • i bought this app before it was removed, there were more than 8 people who bought it, just they can't publicly count people who "opt out" of being publicly counted for purchasing the app. my estimate is that there were more like, 20 people who bought it.

  • The real stupid thing about this video is that the guy in the video says it is August 13th when this video was uploaded on August 12th.

  • it was banned from apple 3 weeks ago cose you just buy a wallpaper ROLF

  • It was Banned by Apple 2 weeks ago
