@suzenrose you don't need Verizon to get an IP Camera connected and working. You can buy a WiFi IP Camera for about $100 and get an app on a smart phone to view it for a few dollars and pay no monthly fees. Or if that is out of your ability, you can always get a video baby monitor and save money that way.

Thanks, but it wasn't a blocked site in the router. YT was deliberately blocked by some Verizon associate--talk about the antithesis of net neutrality. There seem to be a sort of go between monitor /snooper that can be use on a targeted ip address. Not only was my YT blocked at that time, but someone gained free access to my YouTube account via the Verizon connection. hmmm?

I called verizon ( I have verizon triple play) and asked to sign up for this.

No one can tell me when I can in Pittsburgh. I am a registered nurse and have a handicapped person that I watch, I am very anxious for the video viewing to help me monitor a senior safely.

Verizon, please do not piss on our legs then tell us it's raining. Today a VERIZON van was parked outside my friends door. The windows were shaded, but you could see the figure of a man with a laptop. Apparently University of Pennsylvania officials don't like this bad publicity. So they had VERIZON block my friends access to Youtube. How I know? He has 7 different internet access accounts and YOUTUBE IS ONLY BLOCKED ON MY FRIENDS VERIZON CONNECTION. Thanks University of Pennsylvania.
