It's quite unfortunate that I wasn't able to get the most out of this tutorial because I didn't have the extract tool....Nevertheless it was a fun and very informational tutorial. Thank you

I, personally, had the extract option, and it worked like a charm, though I had to play around with it a couple of times. It was truly a better option than manually selecting it, as it would've taken ages.

helped finish the project really well! And I also like how the video gave TWO different ways of making the gradient because there may be times when one of them doesn't work...

im having the same problem as well. I have cs5 and I can't find extract in filter...
