@JaportAventuros I'll agree it's a monologue. My interpretation (I'm performing this solo in a week or so as part of the whole work) doesn't specify that it's any sort of person, it's just a guy with strong feelings for a certain woman.
If your interpretation is different (and especially if you are performing this too!) than more power to you and lets be happy that there are different ways to do even the same song! Agree to disagree I guess.

The Carmina Burana Fire Opera was one of the High Points of the 40th Oregon Country Fair , IMHO ... Absolutley BRILLIANT!
