Raymond Lotta answers a question about China's liberating economic achievements under Mao. This event took place at the University of Chicago, Nov 11, 2009, on "Everything You've Been Told about Communism Is Wrong, Capitalism Is a Failure, Revolution Is the Solution"
@spicey22
The North Korean system is very different from the Maoist system, firstly. Secondly, North Korea is miles away from pure communism. Communism -- in Engels, Marx and Lenin's definition -- is moneyless, stateless and classless. North Korea has all.

When he compares China and India he says they had simular production with their economies... Because they both started around the same level when China went communist BUT if you compare North Korea and South Korea after the war ended between them is that south korea at the time was on the same level as development so we know as time went on South Korea is a much better economy govt. and population.... SO Communism will eventually always fail and keep the human spirit shackled

It is clear that Free market madness has been thrown out the window(having failed utterly) and they are reverting back to Maoism(reintroducing universal healthcare etc).
