Adam Proposed on Valentines Day!!!!

That morning I woke up to Adam rolling over and saying "Happy Valentines Day!"...we did our normal morning routine...I got ready while he let the dogs out...made coffee...and fed the dogs. While he got ready I set his valentines day present in a visible bright PINK bag on the kitchen counter...(he said he didn't see the bag when he came out but I think he's lying...cause it was PINKPINK)...5 minutes till I had to leave for work he opened it...(I got him a watch...funny story...I picked out this watch a few weeks before valentines day...and the weekend before Vday we were walking in the mall and he pointed out the same watch...needless to say...I know my man...I'M GOOD!!) Ok...back to my story...so we took a picture and I left for work...coffee in hand...big smile on my face cause he loved his watch. Got to work...started working...9:15 rolls around and my calendar reminder pops up...reminding me about a meeting that our HR group had with our Marketing group...9:30 rolls around...I head for the conference room...set my stuff down...and head to the bathroom before they start...I come back from the bathroom only to see my co-worker, Doreen, sitting in my spot. So of course I gave her hell for stealing my seat...lol.

SO...before the meeting begins they explain that Marketing will be filming and taking pictures during the meeting for an orientation video and pamphlet for new hires...nothing new...they do this for a variety of meetings to use for advertising. No biggie. The meeting begins and the speaker is going through different slides on powerpoint explaining how they run ads and what certain spread sheets are for what and so on. Fifteen minutes go by and the speaker finishes with what seems to me to be the last slide...she proceeds to ask if there are any questions....OFCOURSE...I have a question...and she answered it and then stated that she thinks she has one more slide...so...we're all looking up at the screen and the next slide pops up...

"Lisa, Will you marry me?"

I was in such complete and utter shock that I had to read it twice...everyone started screaming and I turned my chair around and there was Adam...dressed in a suit...red tie...and holding a dozen roses down on one knee. I started crying...then Adam started crying...and he asked me "Will you marry me?" lol...I hugged him and cried and it was just SO overwhelming and emotional that I couldn't stand up for a few minutes. I was in SHOCK!!! It wasn't over after that...Adam arranged for me to have the rest of the day off and the following day off (Friday)...so I got to leave right after we got engaged.

Now that's a proposal if you ask me!!!!

The rest of the day we visited ran around and visited with family...had lunch together...dropped by his work...showed everyone there...made a crap load of phone calls...whewww...what a day...

Later that night we decided to go small on dinner and had mexican at Habneros. It just so happens that they had a mariachi band playing there so we mentioned to them that we had just got engaged...so they played us 3 or 4 songs for us...it was SO romantic...the whole day...just unbelievable. It's all really new to me...I couldn't of asked for a more perfect man let alone a more perfect day...just thought I'd share my special day with everyone.
