i dont think steve perry and arnel sound the same. you can really hear the difference between their voices. they have their own style when it comes to their voice, performance, and the way they emote every song they sang. stop comparing them because they are both good in their own style..

I was originally thinking disc 2 of Revelation was just a greatest hits album, not a complete re-recording. I was surprised... but definitely not disappointed.

They shouldn't have even bothered having Arnel record the hits they had with Perry, he has a fine voice but he sounds too different. It's like having Sammy Hagar rerecord all Van Halen's best songs with David Lee Roth.

arnel is the closest thing to perry.. augeri was good at songs like open arms and faithfully but he couldnt handle dont stop believin and separate ways

@dunedz that's cool that you have your opinion I just happen to disagree i thought he happened to handle those songs great even Neal Schon on Vh1 behind the music along with Jonathan Cain said he does separate ways great. But I don't listen to Journey just to hear the stuff they did with perry I liked the originals they did with augeri. like Higher Place,All The Way,Signs of Life,With Your Love,Beyond The Clouds and Faith In The Heartland. That's Why Augeri is my personal favorite.
