Holy shit.

Tolkien would have loved this.

@ondotambaro - great! sounds almost like the original.. it has the same feeling! BTW, have you noticed the similarity between the Godfather theme and the Elves theme when they arrive at Helm's Deep.. it's scary!

You know when you read a book by Tolkien, and you get to a part where some character sings a song, and you feel really awkward reading it because you have no idea what melody the words go to? From now on, I'm going to sing the songs in my head to the Godfather theme =)

Thumbs up if your are tired of people thinking elvish is a language when its actually a language family group
Elvish is just like European, many languages spoken by 1 race

love it! :-D

@JohnRaptor Thank you! :-)
Wow this is great. You're right, the words do flow rather well with The Godfather theme.

Okay, Speak Softly Love is my FAVORITE song and I just starting Elvish and this is the perfect birth of both. Thank you! How did you learn this.

@callmetricia You are most welcome! Discovering the combination was serendipitous. I suddenly realized that this tune (one of my favourites, if not the favourite) and the most famous (and best) Quenya poem fit together. I learned Elvish from Ardalambion (folk.uib.no/hnohf/); I know Namárie by heart.

Oh, darn, sorry I missed it heh... Hanta lye (?) =')
and wow, I stumbled upon your video on your Master's Thesis... althought it might need some audio fixing. Maybe I could tweak it a bit if you'd like? I'm sure Tolkien fans and academics would find it helpful =')

@Shadoufang Hantanyel! You are free to tweak it, for sure. :-)
