George Clooney è arrivato ieri in aereoporto accompagnato dalla neo fidanzata, Elisabetta Canalis. Durante la conferenza stampa più attesa e gremita del festival, George è stato accolto dai giornalisti con un grande applauso. Merito della sua simpatia e del film, da lui prodotto e interpretato, "The man who stare at goats" che ha sorpreso tutti per la genialità e l'ironia. Difficile non accorgersi della sua mano ingessata, che, come lui stesso ha spiegato in sala, si è fratturata durante un incidente con la portiera dell'auto. Con lui in conferenza, Ewan McGregor ed il regista Grant Heslov, che lo hanno aiutato ad aggirare alcune domande dei giornalisti in merito alla sua relazione con la Canalis e ad un suo eventuale matrimonio. A tal proposito George ha risposto che non ha idea di se e quando si sposerà. Dulcis in fundo, un giornalista de "le iene" si è spogliato urlando: "George ti amo, scegli me, baciami!", senza però avvicinarsi all'attore. Clooney ha risposto, scherzando: "Era l'occasione della tua vita e l'hai sprecata! Comunque mi piace la tua cravatta!".
