it's one thing to do so in Fallujah, where everyone was told to leave, but in Haditha you fucking know you're putting women and children's lives in danger.

1st one ok they were in the heat of the moment but 2 continue to use to same techniqe of clearing after the 1st room was litterd with women and children is a fucking coward's excuse.

A Marine's job is to risk his life for the innocent.

complaining that ure buddy lost limbs is sad but then again no one forced u to go over there to play whack a mole with the iraki's. u have killed roughly 1 mil iraki's so at least ure ahead in the body count. going on a killing spree of killing women and children might give u a feeling of revenge coming to fruition , but after it all these guys go through post traumatic stress syndrome , half of those hero's end up shooting themselves through the head after they realize what they did over there.

@carrienz STF UP AND CUT HIM SOME SLACK! He was responsible for killing those civilians but It was retaliation. There were 23 Marines killed and 36 wounded in the Battle of Haditha. Also, 3 of his Marines were hit by an IED on his FIRST Patrol. He must have been thinking of all those Marines when he executed those civilians. Life is not fair, and it always will be. We make mistakes and some just can't be undone. Oorah.

They think, erroneously, that international relations should be based on military power and not on communication.

These marines are well trained and while the Sergeant wasn't combat test, his men were. You're right to blame the Commander-in-Chief and blame does lie with these men. Their judgement should have guided their action rather than relying on training and MOUT tactics.

This is not what they're trained to do. This is the job of police. So fucked!
