I dont seehow you could have a turbo'd honda, with a gauge pod, with a oil pressure gauge in it, and it's not hooked up.. geez were you still running a oem b20 pump ? better luck next time. just know that gauge being hooked up could have saved your motor.. no bs.

BUTi i will say this i have herd on many occasions a exhaust lead sound just like a damn bearing/rod going and what looked like a inexpensive turbo you may want to check for that before you start pulling the motor apart
Most of you were right. It was a spun rod bearing and a bent rod.

I took the valve cover off and I don't see anything loose . Also I started it with the cover off and can't see where the noise is coming from. So I guess it will be a bearing. I'll frailty the oil and get back to y'all

if you towed it and then it sat there for 3 weeks, of course it's gonna make the same noise you didn't fix anything. it's not gonna go away by itself. lol. sorry otis
