**Android 4.2.2 update kills LTE
--------------------------------------------------
Yes, LG Nexus 4 has a working LTE radio in it. We just confirmed it working on the TELUS LTE network.

Highest speed we were able to get was 25 Mbits down and 19 Mbits up.

Since TELUS has the same LTE band 4 (1700/2100MHz) as Bell and Rogers, this means the Nexus 4's LTE will probably work on those carriers too.

UPDATE: AT&T has only rolled out LTE on Band 17 so far, so this won't work on AT&T.

    Try again. *#*#4636#*#*

You can also download an app called 'phone info' to accomplish the same task without entering the code in.

Not all that impressive considering I can easily get 20+ mpbs on HSPA depending on where I'm at. And if that's not fast enough, I'm not sure what you're doing with your cell phone... LTE sucks more battery too. I've had a phone with it and purposely shut it off to HPSA only and it was MORE than fast enough with great battery life. HSPA in Nexus 4 is capable of receiving 42 mpbs. LTE can receiver more but what's the point?

Hey I heard the problem with the nexus is that it doesn't have the antennae/amplifier for lte. Why did your signal drop so low when you switched to lte? Were you near out of range of the lte network of your carrier or could that be from the lack of a proper antennae? Debating between getting this, the s4 or the iphone 5 on tmobile.

Google's 4.2.2 update for the Nexus 4 removes access to the LTE radio. Not really sure why, but it does. So, if you have a Nexus 4 running 4.2.2, then you can't access this feature. Hope that clears it up.
