  • for one the guy BEEPED not SHOCKED the dog !! the beep warns the dog that if it continues to do bad behaviour it will get a mild shock , also this dog has got more freedom cause the owner has no fear of his dog running off , killing/chasing a animal or just plain ignoring him.

  • @weirdoguy

I was beginning to think no one understood the dog benefits....

    Big time

  • Dog got a BEEP not a shock? BEEP never killed a dog yet?

  • IF YOu could train a damn dog, you wouldn't NEED a remote control device for a living animal! Dumbass.

  • @sequoyahbean Tonality is determined by assessing a baseline or average. To just assume anger in tonality is inadequate. It must be assessed after observing the spectrum of the tonality of the individuals involved. Your happy is not my happy perhaps. And assuming "angry" is not necessarily justified either.

  • @sequoyahbean There are many effective tools to use. Why not allow people to use what they deem best suited to them their background, personality and purposes? Great results and happy dogs should be encouraged regardless of chosen method in my opinion. If your getting great results I wish you the best with your methods and animals.

  • @jjj2www I've successfully trained ALL my dogs since to recall no matter if there is a distraction or not, and four of them were hounds, not herders! If you understand what you are doing, you don't need a shock collar to teach a recall.

  • Why do you always sound angry when you give your dog his sit/stay/come cues? I wouldn't want to hang around you, or come back to you either. No wonder you think you need a shock collar.

  • Your dog is very beautiful. I have a very willful dog also. I trained with the beep as well. She has listened to me since. :)

  • The shock collar does hurt, but minimally. Most dogs only get shocked twice and learn that when they hear the beep to come back (or obey whatever command) without ever having to be shocked again. However, shock collars should be used by people who understand the training method, not by people who over-use and zap the dog whenever he looks at the owner wrong.
