FYI - Residential Wiring Polarity. Electrical receptacles in homes have silver screws on one side and brass screws on the other. The brass screws get the "hot" (black) wire and the silver screws get the "neutral" (white) wire. Green is for ground. Nice project - amazing ingenuity! Sorry to hear it is no longer together.

hot and Neut reversed on receptacle, don't believe me? put a recpt. analyzer on it.

does the magnet losses energy during the first 360 degree cycling?
-
nice setup bro cuestion how did you charge the battery did u use any charger controller
-
why not just use battery powered fluorescent or led lamps?
-

@NOCNOTCAUGHT Thanks for the information! Thanks, it was a cool project. Someday I'll have to build another one, only this time I think I'll use an old B&S. Right now this generator has a 2hp Briggs on it, same alternator and frame/wheels. I'm using it as a portable battery charger. Works great for dead batteries out in the woods!

@elcomandante31able Thanks! The battery is charged by the car alternator when the engine is running.
