Titanium classic drop point folder for $40, maybe less. Yeah it caught my attention too. Boker knives span all kinds of value lines and they have many great blades. But this one jumped out of the catalog: full flat ground 440C drop point blade, bead blasted grey titanium lockback design, tip-up carry. In hand it does not fail to impress. The satin finished 3 3/4" blade is well suited for food preparation and other utility tasks that cry out for your daily carry blade. Speed for a lockback is unusually fast and the lockup is secure and without fault. Phosphor bronze bushings reside inside. The titanium handle is chamfered on the edges, it does not seem to occlude the thumbstud, and there's a lanyard hole. Blade centering is also perfect. Yes it lacks jimping but some might contend it would ruin the beautiful lines of this handsome folder. Ergonomics are good for the category but perhaps not outstanding (thumb stud is ambi, well-designed). I would not place the knife into a tactical POU on purpose. But the Plus Titan's slimness is a standout quality that enables its 4.2 oz weight to carry unobtrusively and comfortably. This a blade you will forget about until you need it. The pocket clip is well designed, polished, and you have your choice of left/right carry. Overall presentation is outstanding on this high value blade and it is definitely worth the money. A detectable downside is that this Boker 440C steel seems to take a razor edge reluctantly, even with careful sharpening. In the end it was acceptable. But for the price, this blade represents incredible value and enters into Hall of Fame Playlists in TNP.//////////////////Nutnfancy Likability Scale: 8.5 out of 10

  • Congratulations on another 10 minute knife review. Now I can watch your great vids again! Keep up the good work Nutn.

  • @WoodenChicken1 WoodenChicken lives...great to have you back dude. Honestly the ten minute format is a 50/50 split on love/hate from TNPrs. I am leaning towards these short formats though. Just not a lot of time for any sidetracks though...of any kind.

  • As far as I know Boker Magnum and Boker plus are made in China. Boker Arbolito is made in Argentina and those of Solingen are the only ones made in Germany.

  • the granade knives are lameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • mine came shaving sharp out the box, stropped with green compound like 6 strokes each side and it cuts wet paper towel clean O_o dunno what trouble nutnfancy had :D

  • @LWRCftw this is slimmer, lighter and much easier to withdraw from a pocket than cold steel.. elegant looking and pretty damn strong with titanium frame and lockback (one of the strongest locks imo, probably not as good as triad but close) 440C with a good heat treatment is on the same ballpark as AUS-8 with more rust resistance, better edge retention but a tiny bit more difficult to get a razor edge on. I got most cold steels and not a fan of boker, but I have this knife and love it :D

  • um, for 10 dollars more you can get a Cold Steel with an AUS8 blade and a triad lock. methinks this knife is a tad pointless.

  • still waiting for a extreme in-depth knife sharpening video with ceramic and apex as well as the infamous tant and recurve.

  • I'm honestly dying to know if anyone here has been able to slap this on a lansky or edge pro system and really make it sharp.

  • I saw CHIIIIIIIIINNNNAAAAAA!!! Lol

  • @BelloBudo007 Sorry about that man, ill try to keep my acronyms to a minimum.

Yes, it is a pain to try to learn the laws of anywhere you need to go.

I generally carry to the fullest extent of the law in my home state (Texas) and then carry the bare minimum in others, ive found that generally keeps me good. But as always, if someone wants you to have a bad day, they are gonna try their darndest to make it happen.

  • @Kylef7735 - I confess to having to 'google' Idk. For a while there I was scratching my head. But all sorted now. I'm not a fan of State to State Laws but I guess there's a reason for it. I'd hate to cross the border and find that what is legal in 90% of States now has me in bother with the cops. Some cops use their common sense and I swear some have none.

  • @BelloBudo007 Idk for canada but in the US it depends on the state.
