Participants of the 5th World Conference of the Global Alliance of Justice Education meet farmers from Baha farming community (Calatagan, Batangas, Philippines), protested at the Department of Agriculture. 76 farmers started a march on Dec. 1, 2008 to press the Office of President to protect their 507-hectare agricultural land from a cement corporation. Lawyers from Alternative Law Group member KAISAHAN help farmers in their case. The current situation is a result of an erroneous classification of the land as "mineralized"... But it seems that in reality some interests are "MONEYralized" very much... On video one of farmers' leaders explains the situation. December 11, 2008 (part 1).
