I have heard this piece all my life and always been fascinated by it´s sense of fun, irony, and whimsy.
It just makes me feel good.

i'm learning the first movement for a competition and i'm so excited now....they did play the second movement a bit slow though

Notice how at 7:24 Milhaud combines the two principal motives of the second movement. What a wonderful piece. I love the jazzy flavor and humor in the first and last movements! Nicely done by the Duo.

Listening to these pianists gives an enourmous pleasure. I have commented before on this, but, quicly, I have compared these two to the others on YouTube - and THERE IS NO COMPARISON at all. These two are THE BEST!!!

Listen to all of the 18 string quartets (2 of which can be played simultaneously by a string octet!) and, as duester45 stated, everything else! Milhaud was a marvel.
