Anyone know the date of this performance? I don't understand how there can be ANY dislikes. Can't have anything to do with the music.

@FraserMGZR I would like to say that for your information I am Scottish born and raised. I can trace my family back centuries, through my Clan. I'm a proud Scot. Get over your narrow mindedness and educate yourself a little on details. By several I meant two and I've volunteered at a care home for ex-soldiers who fought in those wars. And seriously it was Austria-Hungary who really initiated WW1. So try to get your facts right and it wasn't about conquering Europe. Oh, and learn how to spell.

Bless you, bigrico27; you ARE big in soul. I'm more Irish than Scottish and more English than either, not counting the German and Cherokee, but this music makes me weep every time. I esp. like The Corries's traditional approach.

This song makes me shiver, I am always proud to be Scottish and will always believe in an independent Scotland, but in response to the last poster, never be shy to take pride in being English, thats what u are, thats where u are from, England and the English have had a phenomenal impact on the world, England has acheived more than most countries in the world can dream, England has a rich, diverse and interesting history and culture of its own, I have no idea why they dont want to embrace it.
