A Savinelli is a pretty good pipe, and for $80, you didn't do too badly. Never seen a Savinelli with a p-lip - interesting. I also prefer the conventional fishtail bit, which is lots more comfortable than a p-lip.

Awesome video! Because I am an impulsive buyer, I skipped right over the corncobs. My buddy had one the other day and it smoked really well. I wish I had a few of those instead of shelling out 80-90 bucks and multiple types. I need help! :(

That's a stunning Savinelli, extremely good value at $80!
The basket pipe does not look bad. They are usually made of rather raw briar, which makes them hard to break in. Furthermore, as one smokes them as a beginner, one tends to smoke fast and hot. With time, though, the wood resins tend to evaporate, making the wood more like good, aged briar. Such pipes can improve amazingly.
They are useful for taking outdoors. It's much easier to lose one of those than a beautiful Savinelli!

A good student pipe collection, I'd say $80 for that Sav from a B&M is a good price. I love the 6mm filter system too, the best option if you don't like the 9mm system. And a nice we meer too...I'd say you've done your homework, a good collection for real money...well done.
