Electric Cars are not weak.
This Car is a Neighborhood car, so it was toned down.

Question for robgreenlee : if I drive a Zenn in a colder climate, how long will it take to "pre-heat", like I usually warm-up a normal car out in the snow before it is ready to be driven ?

Hey, Rob! Nice to have reconnected with you. Love your new wheels! I had one of the first Honda Insights in Seattle, and had a ball driving it (but my wife thought it was dangerously small - oh well!)

Just bought ZENN stock for $4.30. Here's hoping the company makes money, but also great to support the technology.

I was originally impressed with this technology but when I compared it to my scooter I recently purchased, ZENN needs a lot of work. I understand the intial cost will come down and its to pay for R n D but at 35MPH top speed it's fairly weak. What's the torque / acceleration at? I'm not expecting super fast acceleration but seriously, my scoot is generally traveling at 35-60mph n I believe it needs more umph for the hills so comparing to this, My bike wins hands down.

25-35 mph...hahahahaha

i like electric cars but this one is CRAP i could do better 20 years ago with lead acid batteries! my electric bike goes faster without even peddeling! its such a shame cause people see this and it re enforces un founded steriotypes. the most annoying thing is for years car companys have said they are just wating on decent batterys but the ev1 worked fine over a decade ago and something like the tesla rodster will out perform many of its internal combustion rivles.

Did anyone else notice that during the test drive, the ZENN almost went as fast as the bicycle riding about 50 feet ahead of it? Look, I like the idea of new, alternative vehicles, etal...but this thing ain't it. Especially starting at $16k.
I really love electric cars but the ZENN is surely not one of these. It is simly too slow. Even for an neighborhood car it should have a top speed of at least 35 mph. The Th!nk city is a real usable e-car. But not this one.
