ever wonder how ram chips are made? A while back I had to do some work at Kingston. Bringing some of their older machines up to cal oasha standards. I took this video in their research facility, this is a ram chip setter in full boar production. After this step there are several test fases before the public gets it but this is how it begins.

  • this is just low-tech assembly, not high tech silicon etching

  • @Jspeterson this is way beyond low tech assembly. Your a dumb ass... congrats

  • lol... not so much the ram that is so exciting as the machine stitching little tiny chips to the boards faster then you can even see. And then it somehow works.. =)

  • @Jspeterson yeah low-tech my ass. This machine is smarter than you

  • @robin2531610 I was thinking that too

  • what is ram? if its not transistors.. what is the difference between cpu and ram hardware wise... ?

  • nice massage machine!(for my motherboard =))

  • I bet it would take me a live time to place the amount of chips this could in an hour!

  • do those numbers on the left on the machine console means chips set per second if it is than 170 is fast
