The dream he tried to realize was free energy for EVERYONE. This is a bad joke, if Tesla hadn't sacraficed his personal wealth in the current wars, Edison would've imposed the DC system and poor people would still cook on fires. @gianboy2001 you wouldn't, this is a performance vehicle. you don't buy a performance vehicle if you are worried about saving anything, you buy it for performance. To me the only disappointing thing about the roadster is that they are going to stop producing it. I think they should treat it the way chevrolet treats the corvette. make it a showcase item... worry about making money with your OTHER products. this car is the face of Tesla. HUGE mistake to stop producing it.

The oil companies are not threatened by electric vehicles.

By the time the world SLOWLY converts to Electric Vehicles the INCREASED population of the earth will still be consuming all the Oil and Natural Gas needed for the thousands of other products that are made directly and or indirectly from Oil and natural gas.

Keep in mind that the electric Vehicle you see in the video would not be possible without the Oil industry and the Natural Gas Industry.

NO pollution is what excites me.
